Atlanta, GA – The Haynes Manor neighborhood is located in Buckhead. The neighborhood developed beginning in the 1920s. The name comes from the developer of the neighborhood, Eugene Haynes, who subdivided his Haynes Manor Estate. Most of the development along Peachtree Battle Ave is from the 1920s, with surrounding areas built in the 1930s and 40s.
This first home on Peachtree Battle caught my eye, like those windows by the front door.
The hilltop home below just keeps going and going! Built in 1926, it sits on a large corner lot. Check out all those chimneys!
The 1920 house below is decorated for Halloween – and those spiders you see on the house are BIG!
The Art Deco house below is known as the Evans-Cucich House. Built in 1934, this is the only known Art Deco House built in Atlanta. It fell into disrepair over the years, and is fresh off a major renovation. When it was being sold as a fixer upper a while back, it still had the old style refrigerator in the kitchen – very 1930s looking!
This is one of my two favorites below. Just love everything about it! And love the pumpkins along the front stairs!
Below is the textbook Southern Living home – white columns, large yard, magnolia trees, etc. Love it!
Love an ivy-covered house, and the one below, built in 1930 is just fantastic!
Saved my favorite home for last on here – just love everything about it! The landscaping, bay windows, etc. I’d love to go inside this one and check it out!
Thanks so much for taking a look at some of my favorite homes in Haynes Manor, appreciate you reading the blog!
