Thomasville, Ga – Thomas County – The Reese House, built around 1885 is located in the Dawson Street Historic District of Thomasville. I was walking Leroy one morning while we were in Thomasville, and we just had to stop and admire this house.
Built in the Victorian Era, the house originally had more gingerbread trim, and even had a turret over the bay windows on the side. Even with the house having been modernized, there are still ample details present:
This house was for sale not too long ago, and a couple of interior photos were available – really like the details in the foyer:
When this house was built, there was a building boom going on in Thomasville as it became a popular winter resort.
Really interesting house, on a street with many beautiful old homes. Thanks for taking a quick look at the Reese House!
